Greetings,
Welcome to the Bulldog Empowerment Alumni Chapter (BEAC)! As I reflect, I am incredible proud of where we started and where we are today as an organization. We are represented at the national level, both on the Executive level and the Board of Directors. Not only do we have representation, but we also have members from our era--something I feel has been missing for far too long. My sole reason for getting involved with the National Alumni Association was to secure a seat at the table and to have a voice in the decisions being made. I want our voice to be heard, and I want an opportunity for us all.
BEAC offers annual signature programs and an endowed scholarship with the university. We focus on providing resources that enhance membership benefits. These benefits will create a safe place for alumni to network and engage in activities that help improve their everyday lives. Ultimately, we need ideas that enable us to effectively support future alumni, bolster BEAC's mission, assist the university, attract more talent, and dedicate time to the Bulldog Empowerment Alumni Chapter. It's our time, and we could use your help.
I want to encourage you all to get involved in some capacity. Engage with alumni and contribute your time and talent, where we have a seat at the table. There is so much more work to be done to make the Bowie State University National Alumni Association and Bulldog Empowerment Alumni Chapter great.
Kind Regards,
Kenneth Bowe
