Celebrating BSU Legacy Families

The BSU Legacy Family exemplifies unwavering loyalty and pride in their enduring connection to the institution. We extend our sincere gratitude to each of you. It is our honor to recognize and celebrate your family’s legacy at BSU throughout the month of April.

The Dunlap Legacy Family

Collin proudly continues a long legacy of Bowie State University graduates. When he began his journey at BSU in the fall of 2024, he became the fourth generation in his family to attend the university—and, prayerfully, he will join the alumni ranks with the Class of 2028.

His mother, both grandmothers, grandfather, and great-grandfather are all BSU alumni. Additionally, his extended family—including an aunt, uncle, godparents, and cousins—are proud Bowie State graduates as well.
