The Bulldog Empowerment Alumni Chapter (BEAC) is honored to offer our scholarship opportunities for Bowie State University (BSU) students!
OVERVIEW
Bulldog Empowerment Alumni Chapter (BEAC) of the Bowie State University National Alumni Association (BSUNAA) is a Maryland Corporation and 501(c)3 Non-Profit Corporation serving Prince George's County.
One of the goals of BEAC is providing financial assistance to Bowie State University undergraduate students. We encourage students to apply for the BEAC scholarship to help relieve some of the financial burden of rising college expenses.

The application was open for enrolled undergraduate students April 15, 2026 through June 1, 2026. Applications were not be accepted after 11:59 pm, June 1, 2026. Incomplete applications were not be considered or accepted. Winners were be notified on June 15, 2026.

CRITERIA
- Must be an undergraduate student enrolled at Bowie State University (Sophomore, Junior, or Senior)
- Cumulative GPA requirement 2.5 or higher (provide copy of latest semester academic grades)
- Statement of financial hardship: Must provide a descriptive video essay (no longer than 3 minutes):
- Application deadline by 11:59 pm on June 1, 2026. Application will not be accepted after 11:59 pm.
- Incomplete applications will not be considered or accepted.
AWARD AND ELIGIBILITY
- $500 Scholarship
- Scholarship will be awarded to current BSU student, with the greatest financial need and who established a successful GPA academic record.
- Winner will be notified on June 15, 2026.
- Winner will receive scholarship award in check form made payable to College Institution: Bowie State University and applied to student’s account.
